Japan has introduced silent carriages on Trains. Theres nothing worse than being in the vicinity of someone chatting on a mobile phone for the length of your journey although perhaps a total ban on Trains is over the top. Brisbane now has carriages designated "silent" great move and I hope it becomes Australia wide!
