Good day everyone,
We have a tropical forestry nursery where we produce high value timber tree seedlings. We have been supplying these seedlings to farmers and other land owners for nearly 20 years now and now we have a tree that produces a bio-diesel in its heart wood. When mature, each tree can produce an average of 40 litres per annum which means one hectare of these trees has the potential to yield 10,000 litres or more per year. This is enough to completely run a small farm and gives farmers more independence regarding their fuel supply. These trees are suitable for the frost free coastal areas from the Northern Rivers of NSW through to the wet tropics. They grow to over 40 metres tall and are also excellent timber suited for high value furniture making.
