Hi, my name is David Ogilvie. I run a business called Simply Solar. I started the business 6 months ago and have just opened my second location in Byron Bay NSW, first one is in Redland Bay QLD. I am very excited about the opportunities that the market is presenting.
I will say this, I am not a natural, for the lack of a better term, greeny. I have only been in the industry for coming on 3 years. But one thing I am very proud of, whether people are still sceptical about global warming or they are full believers, we are using our resources in much smarter, sustainable ways. and, apart form the QLD government, governments are getting behind green initiatives.
I figure no matter what is going on with the environment, if we are planting more trees, making our rivers cleaner, having less pollution and creating a need breed of green industry, is has got to be a good thing.
Simply Solar as a company has a policy of involvement. we want to align our selves with "green" groups that we can support to some extent financially. Groups that will promote us and our products and benefit them selves.
